The benefits of strength training are many, including
increased strength, lowered blood pressure, decreased stress, lowered
risk of diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease, increased balance,
decreased cholesterol and a better sense of well being. Exercising also
improves your quality of sleep, which gives you more energy for the
day.
This exercise program was designed with people age 65 and older in
mind. However, you can do these exercises at any age.
This DVD features a 36 minute total body workout with hand weights and stand alone versions of a 20 minute upper body workout and a 25 minute lower body workout.
